This project is part of the ERJU project: and more specific of the FP5-TRANS4M-R project on Transforming Europe‘s Rail Freight. The ERJU project is a very large EU project on improving transportation by train through Europe. The sub-project DMB is involved in addresses automated identification of carriages and automated inspection of technical parts of trains (brakes etc) using computer vision. Currently, we have 1 PhD student working on the project and expect to hire a post-doc soon.
