The Kennisloket is part of the Nieuwe Energie Overijssel initiative that seeks to accelerate the energy transition in the Province of Overijssel. The Kennisloket is made up of experts from CSTM (Lisa Sanderink) - University of Twente, alongside Universities of Applied Sciences Saxion and Windesheim. The aim of the Kennisloket is to support organizations (companies, municipalities and more) in the province, who face challenges in the energy transition. These organizations can submit questions to the Kennisloket, which are then reviewed by the representatives of the knowledge institutions. If existing knowledge is available, this will be shared with the organizations. If new research is needed, the Kennisloket will assist with that. Depending on the question, students from the University of Twente, Saxion or Windesheim can also be connected to it, providing valuable insights in a relatively short time. Organizations can ask a wide range of questions about any aspect of the energy transition. Think of technical, socio-economic, legal, economic, or political-administrative issues.
