My PhD research explores how we can meaningfully co-create just spatial futures by connecting multiple scales, temporalities and types of knowledge through an intersectional, feminist lens of care (Tronto, 2019; Miraftab, 2022, 2024). Through iterative processes of research by spatial design (RbSD) and radical spatial imagination, I investigate how transdisciplinary co-creation of infrastructures of care (Gabauer et al., 2021; Sánchez, 2023; Sheringham, 2025; Strüver & Franz, 2025; Stadtlander et al., 2026) can decentre futuring methodologies and foster space for agonistic pluralism (Mouffe, 2000) in spatial planning. My interdisciplinary background bridges an MSc in Urbanism (TU Delft) and a BSc in Architecture and Urban Planning (University of Stuttgart), as well as practical training in carpentry. I combine these perspectives and related methods at different scales to bridge the gap between top-down planning and bottom-up agency.
